Equality in Camden

Camden is one of the most diverse places in the country and communities of people with different identities, pride, cultures and abilities. We are home to some of the poorest and some of the wealthiest. Whilst some enjoy a good quality of life, others face hardships.

We encourage participation from all sections of our diverse community. We believe our borough will be a better, more creative and innovative place to work, visit and live in if we can harness the benefit of lots of different perspectives.

Better London Living

The Camden Collection is saddened by the injustices facing the Black community around the world and we stand in steadfast support and solidarity against racism in all its forms.

Furthermore, as a team and within our wider organisation, we pledge to treat everyone fairly and recognise the needs of people who are faced with disadvantage or inequalities such as being treated less favourably because of race, sex, disability, age, gender, reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity / paternity, sexual orientation, transgender, religion / belief etc.

Our staff, contractors and customers are all different and we’re committed to ensuring our services and employment practices respect, promote and celebrate these differences. We aim to go beyond our the legal requirements by ensuring we make equality, diversity and human rights integral to all of our decisions at The Camden Collection.

Not only do the developments look excellent, but we love the idea of the local council taking the initiative... The concept of furthering a social purpose is something we are very much behind.
